The Andrew Chronicles

ABOUT US

The Andrew Chronicles is a three-part series about the challenges and inner workings of a case that went through nearly ALL of the levels of the Idaho justice system including a million dollar bail, two trials, a hung jury, a conviction, and an ongoing appeal to the Idaho Supreme court.

All of this for one sarcastic remark during a heated romantic breakup.

Under Idaho law (Idaho Code § 18-109), a crime is defined as "any act committed or omitted in violation of a law forbidding or commanding it, which is punishable upon conviction by penalties such as death, imprisonment, fines, or removal from office." It doesn't matter if you knew or didn't know something was illegal.

"We" are the people behind the book. For now, I am using only first names (for other than the author) to protect personal information.
Andrew is the victim in the story--the victim of an unjust and chaotic legal system that favors the prosecution--not justice. It is a game of who will win and the system has all the cards on their side.
Nancy Watson is the author of this true crime/justice book--but only as a reporter of the events. She is also the Manager/Owner of Guiding Lantern Press.

Rebecca is Andrew's mother and a truly courageous fighter in Andrew's war against injustice. In her effort to provide funding for Andrew's fight, she is using her talent for baking by creating Apricot Cottage, a sourdough bakery business. You can help support her by buying some of her delicious sourdough bread creations! Since they operate locally, you can reach out directly via the Rebecca Ann Bice Instagram Profile to check their current bake list, see what is currently available, or arrange to pick up a loaf in the nearby vicinity!

Leah is Andrew's aunt and a talented website developer. She is currently an intern for Guiding Lantern Press LLC, building the website for Andrew's series of books.

Guiding Lantern Press LLC is the publisher and a startup company created to handle the many fascinating and complex activities rquired for publishing and marketing a non-fiction book. You can learn more about the publisher on their website at https://www.guidinglanternpress.com
